Looking back on some great comments from the past as I’m finally developing this work. “Ewww….Slow down the grossness”-Sparks “It’s not gross enough” -Barry

As I’m adding more to the Little Tragedies Series, I’m thinking of expanding the works to include Strange Encounters and a few Violent Lullabies. Here is what I have so far:

Recovering some ideas I started a few years ago. Adding more to the Little Tragedies Series and expanding the series to include Strange Encounters.

Using old and new drawings, I’m cutting out the figure and inserting it into some found kitsch paintings.    

New studio work with dollhouse miniatures. Serious play. Making and unmaking, twisting and tangling, falling and floating.
